Escamilla
My body of work focuses on what it means to me to be human. Over the past few years, I have tried to understand what it takes to be true to oneself and face the world confidently. Working through my drawing technique, I have experimented with drama and depth to visually portray the nuance of life through my eyes. I hope to invite the viewer to stand with me in my moments of vulnerability. If I have learned anything through my journey, someone has to take the first step toward coming together.
so here is mine.
