Originally from Milwaukee Wisconsin, Lexi relocated to attend school in Dekalb, IL. Through attending college, she explored what makes her the same and different from everyone around her. She also saw her moments of struggle as inspiration to express herself through her art. While the range of materials she uses is broad, her focus on portraits and still lifes were used to capture the small nuances of life from her eyes.

She hopes to express the messiness yet nuance of life and how sharing vulnerability brings people together through her art.
